Cece + Dylan | Magical Romantic Wedding | The Houdini Estate, Los Angeles, Ca

There are a million reasons why I’ll never forget Cece and Dylan’s wedding day and why I will always cherish being their wedding photographer. Cece and Dylan are two of the kindest people I have met, but what’s more is that they are also funny, easy-going, sweet and oh-so-loving not just to each other but to every single friend and family member. They chose the jaw-dropping Houdini Estate venue located in Los Angeles, California to celebrate their wedding. Whimsical sculptures and wild foliage decorate almost every inch of this place, which makes it not only interesting but also quite MAGICAL…. it is pretty much perfect for anyone who is a fan of Houdini, magic, old-Hollywood or mysterious gardens.

Cece and Dylan did not want anything to compete with the beautiful landscape, instead, they opted to compliment the space with a minimalistic approach. A family member provided the florals, including the bouquets and table decor. The bridesmaids wore beautiful blush gowns from BHLDN and the groomsmen matched in navy blue suits. Cece wore a BHLDN dress and I’m sure you will agree – she looked STUNNING! Hair and Make up was done by the talented Amber Rose.

Every detail of this day was beautifully executed, BIG THANKS to Christine Garrison from CMG Events for her help and organization. I, and the entire XO and Fetti team LOVED working with her and her team!

Words from the bride…

Wedding Colors | Green, Blue and Blush

Theme or three words to best describe your day | Romantic, loving, whimsical and classic

Share your inspiration and the atmosphere you’re creating for your wedding.

The estate is so beautiful so we want to make that the highlight. We’re keeping the tables simple with ivory linens and green vines going down them with bits of candlelight. We want it to be a fun, romantic, classy night.

Share how (or why) you chose your wedding venue(s).

The history, the lush plant life, the romantic atmosphere.

What was your favorite part of the planning process?

Seeing our families surround us with love and support.

Are there any special songs to be played for the processional, recessional, or first dances that have special meaning?

Our first dance is going to be We Go A Long Way Back by Bloodstone. We heard it a long time ago and it made us laugh and we knew we wanted to dance to it one day.

What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples?

Communication is key – not only sharing your feelings but truly listening to what your partner is telling you.

Congrats Cece and Dylan!!
